We Promote Healthy Brains and Minds

Healthy Brain, Healthy Mind is a 5-week program focused on improving emotional well-being, reducing stress, and improving coping skills among college students. 

Choose between Sunday or Tuesday at 7 pm, or Wednesday at 4 pm. Each session lasts approximately 1 hour.

There is no charge for attending any of the sessions and you will be provided with a workbook after the final session. You will receive Ethos credit for each session you attend.

Below are the topics for each session:

Week 1, Introduction: In this session you are given a chance to get to know other group members and the group facilitator. An overview of future sessions is also discussed.

Week 2, 12 Pathways to Better Brain Health: This session discusses 12 pathways that have been shown to promote healthy brains and minds.

Week 3, Managing Stress: In this session you will learn the difference between healthy vs. unhealthy stress, and how to identify and manage stress.

Week 4, Managing the Blues: In this session you will learn the difference between “the blues” and clinical depression, and how to identify and manage the blues.

Week 5, Moving Forward: This session teaches an effective strategy for promoting and improving healthy behaviors for your mind and body.
