Rachel is a Junior, Public Comm & Leadership major at OK Christian University. She wanted to be a part of UShine because it is a group that allows for open and honest conversations about mental health and mental illness. She recognizes these conversations are necessary to reduce misconceptions and encourage people to take care of themselves.
She is passionate about reaching out to others and helping them find peace and happiness. She worked as a training assistant for Pathways, an organization that seeks to help people work through relationship troubles.
Rachel is a part of the Taking Sides Chapel team and serves as the homecoming director for her social service club. She also is a part of OC's ethics team.
