Psychology B.S., M.A., Deputy Executive Director
Why she is a part of U!Shine
Vivian joined U!Shine because of a growing motivation to change the way the church, universities, and society view mental illness. Since she's arrived at college, she's witnessed too many close friends, family members, and students struggle with various mental illnesses, and is now so thankful to have the chance to direct others towards resources that can help change the stigma of this battle.
What makes her happy?
Things that make her smile include (but are not limited to): pug puppies (specifically, this video), any and all forms of cheesecake, and trying new restaurants.
More about Vivian
She graduated with a B.S. in Psychology from Oklahoma Christian in 2016, and graduated with her M.B.A. in 2017. She's now working towards her M.A. in Organizational Dynamics at the University of Oklahoma.
How does she stay mentally fit?
To stay mentally fit, she likes to practice yoga, get 8-9 hours of sleep, read books on topics that interest her, and create environments where she can be organized and have alone time.
